Officials give details in local missing persons case

WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Although there are no new updates in a local missing persons case, West Fargo Police are providing more details surrounding the disappearance.

Officials say Jonett Wanner was first reported missing in July of 2023. According to officials, she went to work and was last seen at 2:30 pm on July 11, 2023. She had access to a grey 2017 Nissan Rogue with ND license plates 261AZY. Wanner may be traveling with her dog, Scooby.

Throughout the investigation, West Fargo’s Investigations Division has followed up on numerous anonymous tips in several states. The search lead them to North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, and Oregon. Police say none of those searches ended in a confirmed sighting. Detectives have also reportedly been to the Stearns County area to follow up on a potential sighting. There was no sign of Wanner or her vehicle though. According to officials, bodies of water have been searched in Barnes, Stearns, and Becker Counties.

Police also releasing in their update, no transactions have been made on any of Wanner’s credit cards or bank accounts. The Investigations Division continues to monitor law enforcement databases, resources, and additional tips on a routine basis.

West Fargo Police area asking any local landowners & farmers to check land, farmland, wooded areas, abandoned buildings, sheds or remote properties for any signs of Wanner or her vehicle.
