Van considered total loss after fire in Main Ave

Authorities say a vehicle near a building in Main Ave. is a total loss after a fire broke out Sunday afternoon.

Fargo Fire crews were called to 1443 Main Ave, around 1:19 p.m.for reports of a structure fire.

When crews arrived on the scene, they noted that the blaze was coming from a van. Authorities were able to extinguish the fire in about 20 minutes and prevent it from spreading, but they say the van is a "total loss."

The owner of the vehicle was not present at the time.

Officials say the fire is under investigation.
