7 year-old boy steals car, flips three times and survives

A 7 year old old Tulsa, OK boy is said to be lucky to be alive after he stole a car and took it for a ride.

Authorities said Chance Warden is bruised and sore, after he drove a stolen car more than 100 miles per hour, ran off the road and flipped the vehicle three times, all while not wearing a seat belt.

According to police, they say his father dropped him off at a friend’s house, and while he was there Chance took off in the homeowner’s Chevy Cruze.

Chance mother Cyndi Nichols said this was the fourth time her son had gotten behind the wheel and stole a car just in the past week.

Nichols said she lost custody of her son several years ago and has been fighting ever since to get him back.

She says she’s only allowed to see her son for one hour a week and claimed that Chance told her at the hospital that he was trying to get back to her.
