INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (www.gobison.com) -- North Dakota State senior guard Lawrence Alexander scored eight points and drained a pair of three-pointers to help the West All-Stars to a 109-87 victory over the East in the 2015 Reese’s College All-Star Game on the Final Four court at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The West All-Stars made nine of their first 10 shots while going 7-for-7 from three-point range to take a 27-14 lead with 13:50 left in the first half.
Alexander capped a run of treys on five straight possessions for the West, forcing an East timeout with the lead at 19-8 less than five minutes into the contest.
Corey Hawkins from UC Davis and Le’Bryan Nash from Oklahoma State were named the Co-Reese’s Perfect Players from the West. Hawkins finished with a game-high 20 points on 7-for-9 shooting while knocking down 4-of-5 from three-point range in the win. Nash had 17 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the West, who never trailed in the game.
Alexander joined Ben Woodside (2009) as NDSU players to play in the all-star game.
