Man Shot During Jamestown Home Break-In

NewsDakota.com The Jamestown Police Department say a man was shot after a house break-in early Friday morning.

Just after midnight police were called about a man that had broken into a house at 1115 1st Ave. North.

Officers say the homeowner and the man who broke-in had a confrontation and the intruder was shot.

The man shot was taken to a Jamestown hospital, then transferred to Fargo but police say his injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening.

Investigators say there were 2 other people in the house at the time but no one else was hurt. They believe everyone involved knew each other.
