UPDATE: Head-On crash with a semi-truck injures two

UPDATE:
The North Dakota State Patrol has released the names of two people involved in a head-on crash in Harvey Friday.

Mitchell Radziej, 25 OF Plaza, North Dakota, was airlifted to a hospital after crashing head-on into a semi on Highway 52.

James Bagley Jr, 36 of Nevada was heading to Valley City in a semi-truck.

Bagley was treated for minor injuries at a hospital then released.

Charges are pending against Radziej.

Two people are injured after a head-on crash involving a semi-truck near Harvey.

North Dakota Highway Patrol says the collision involved a semi-truck and a car Friday at 8:30 a.m.

The semi was heading eastbound on Highway 52 to Valley City and the driver of a Pontiac vibe was traveling westbound on Highway 52.

The driver of the Pontiac lost control of his vehicle and entered the eastbound lane, striking the semi head-on.

Both drivers were transported to St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey for their injuries.

The driver of the Pontiac suffered several severe injuries and the driver of the semi suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The Pontiac is considered totaled by North Dakota Highway patrol while the semi sustained disabling front end damage.

The crash is still under investigation.
