Bond set at $2 million in North Dakota murder case

MINOT, N.D. (KFYR) A judge set bond at $2 million for a man accused of killing his ex-wife.

Twenty-nine-year-old Richie Wilder Jr., faces a Class AA felony murder charge in the death of Angila Wilder, whose body was found in a northwest Minot residence on Nov. 13.

Officers arrested Wilder Friday afternoon.

At his initial appearance Monday, the state asked for either no bond or the $2 million cash or corporate surety bond.

Wilder will appear again for his preliminary hearing Jan. 28 at 11 a.m., with a pretrial conference set for April 6 at 10 a.m.

He could face life in prison without parole if convicted, and would have to serve a minimum of 85 percent of his sentence.
