GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- The University of North Dakota is clinging to the 25th spot in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll after a 35-30 defeat to then No. 4 Weber State.

The Fighting Hawks (5-3) hit the road to take on Idaho (3-5) Saturday.

Going on the road might not be such a bad thing.

UND is 3-1 away from the Alerus Center this season with the lone loss coming to FBS Washington.

Head Coach Bubba Schweigert said his team might be better on the road for a couple reasons, but mainly its his squad's ability to maintain focus throughout the trip that has led to the success.

"This has been something for a few years now we've done a good job of going on the road and playing well and staying together. It's just something you've got to do. You've really got to focus and getting off to a good start really helps.," Schweigert said Monday.

In the three road wins this season for UND, the Fighting Hawks have scored first.

On the other side Idaho is undefeated in three home games this year and are outscoring opponents 107-29.
