GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- The University of North Dakota Football team has jumped into the 25th spot in the FCS Coaches Poll after an open week.

The Fighting Hawks (2-1) will head to Eastern Washington (1-3) Saturday for a meeting with the Eagles.

They'll do so with quarterback Nate Ketteringham expected back in the starting lineup.

Ketteringham was injured in the season opening win over Drake and has missed the last two games.

"He took a good step each and every day. (We're) really pleased with the progress he made and this morning was so much better than it was one week ago. So we're really pleased with the progress he's made," Head Coach Bubba Schweigert said Monday.

"Nate looks like he's ready to go," Schweigert added.

True Freshman Tommy Schuster, who filled in after Andrew Zimmerman was injured during the win over Sam Houston State is listed as the backup to Ketteringham.

Schweigert said Monday there was no timetable for Zimmerman's return.
