Tuszka, Radunz, Lance Named to Athlon Sports FCS All-America Team

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Football) - North Dakota State defensive end Derrek Tuszka, left tackle Dillon Radunz and quarterback Trey Lance were named to the Athlon Sports FCS All-America Team announced Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Tuszka, a senior from Warner, S.D., was the Missouri Valley Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He had 19.0 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks, seven quarterback hurries and five pass breakups. He finished sixth in NDSU history with 42.0 career TFLs and fifth all-time with 29.5 sacks.

Radunz, a junior from Becker, Minn., helped North Dakota State rush for a school-record 4,601 yards. The Bison (16-0) finished fourth in the FCS with 287.6 rushing yards per game and were fifth nationally in fewest sacks allowed per game (0.81).

Lance, a redshirt freshman from Marshall, Minn., led the FCS in passing efficiency (180.6), ranked second in the FCS with 9.7 yards per passing attempt, and was 10th nationally with 6.5 yards per rushing attempt. He set the NCAA all-divisions record for most passing attempts in a full season without an interception going 192 of 287 passing for 2,786 yards and 28 touchdowns. He also led the Bison with 1,100 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns.
