ST. LOUIS (NDSU Athletics) -- North Dakota State quarterback Easton Stick was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week by the league office Sunday, Sept. 23, for the second time in his career.
Stick, a senior from Omaha, Neb., accounted for 321 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in North Dakota State's 38-10 homecoming win over Delaware. He went 17 of 26 passing for 280 yards and rushed five times for 41 yards and two TDs.
The Bison put up 527 yards of offense against a Delaware team that came in ranked ninth nationally in total defense.
Stick has been responsible for 91 career touchdowns at NDSU. He passed College Football Hall of Fame quarterback Jeff Bentrim for second place all-time at NDSU in that category.
North Dakota State (3-0) is scheduled to host South Dakota State (2-0) in the Missouri Valley Football Conference opener for both teams Saturday, Sept. 29. Game time is 2:30 p.m. at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
