Spuds top Roseau, 4-2 in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Roseau jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first period that held till early third period when Moorhead tied it up on the stick of Nolan Westra.

They took the lead a few minutes later when Westra fired a puck off the wall to set up Isaac Henkemeyer-Howe for the one touch finish.

Cullen Gess and Kyler Kleven added two more goals for the Spuds as they defeated Roseau 4-2. It's the first loss the Rams have taken in 8AA action this season. The loss also breaks an 11-game winning streak for Roseau.

Paul Huglen and Jordan Moser scored the two goals for Roseau.
