Seven From NDSU on Associated Press FCS All-America Team

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Athletics) - Quarterback Easton Stick, center Tanner Volson and safety Robbie Grimsley were North Dakota State's three first-team honorees on the Associated Press FCS All-America Team announced Tuesday, Dec. 11.

The Bison had seven AP All-Americans including second team defensive end Greg Menard and linebacker Jabril Cox, and third team right tackle Zack Johnson and punter Garret Wegner.

Menard becomes just the third Bison player to earn All-America honors in three different seasons, joining kicker/punter Aaron Pederson (1999-01) and cornerback Marcus Williams (2011-13). Menard was on the STATS FCS All-America third team in 2015 and the HERO Sports FCS All-America second team pick in 2016.

Grimsley is an All-American for the second straight year after earning STATS FCS second team honors a year ago. Stick, Volson, Cox, Johnson and Wegner are All-Americans for the first time in their careers.
