Seven Bison Score in Double Figures as NDSU Rolls Northland, 97-43

Seven North Dakota State men’s basketball players scored in double figures as the Bison posted a 97-43 victory over Northland College (Wis.) on Sunday afternoon at the Scheels Center.

The Bison improved to 11-5 on the season.

Cameron Hunter, Jaxon Knotek and Vinnie Shahid all scored 13 points to lead NDSU. Tyson Ward added 12, Tyree Eady had 11, and Rocky Kreuser and Tyler Witz both scored 10 for the Bison. Knotek’s scoring output was a career-high.

Kreuser recorded nine rebounds, and freshman Maleeck Harden-Hayes added seven boards.

NDSU shot 58 percent for the game, including 10-for-20 from three-point range and 15-for-17 at the free throw line. All 10 Bison who played scored at least four points.

NDSU led 45-21 at halftime and pushed the margin to 63-27 in the first four minutes of the second half.

The Bison return to Summit League play with a game at Oral Roberts on Thursday, Jan. 9.
