Second-ranked UND rolls past Colorado College 8-1

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics) -- Jordan Kawaguchi and Andrew Peski each registered three-point nights as host North Dakota rolled past Colorado College, 8-1, on Saturday evening at Ralph Engelstad Arena in National Collegiate Hockey Conference play.

Kawaguchi's line accounted for four of the goals and piled up seven points combined as the second-ranked Fighting Hawks earned the weekend sweep and improved to 14-1-0 at home this season.

North Dakota will entertain a bye week before welcoming Denver to town Feb. 14-15 for a key NCHC series at the Ralph. Friday's game will air on CBS Sports Network with Saturday's tilt on MidcoSN and nchc.tv.

Notes: Kawaguchi registered his 14th multi-point game of the season ... He now has 41 points for the year, most by a UND player since Brock Boeser's 60-point season in the NCAA championship season of 2016 ... North Dakota recorded its fourth game of eight goals or more this season ... UND is ranked No. 1 in the PairWise Rankings.
