NDSU’s Stick Finalist for Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Athletics) -- North Dakota State quarterback Easton Stick was announced Wednesday, Dec. 5, as a finalist for the STATS FCS Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award, presented to an FCS student-athlete who excels not only in the classroom, but in the community and beyond.

The award is named after the late school teacher and wife of legendary coach Grambling State coach Eddie Robinson. The winner will be announced Monday, Dec. 10, from a list of 13 finalists - one from each of the conferences in the Football Championship Subdivision - and recognized at the STATS FCS awards banquet Jan. 4 in Frisco, Texas.

Stick, a three-year team captain and three-time Missouri Valley Football Conference all-academic first team selection, was a finalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy as part of the National Football Foundation's National Scholar-Athlete Class. He was also named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in September.
