NDSU's NCAA Tournament ends with loss to No. 1 Duke

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Valley News Live) -- North Dakota State played Duke tough for the first half, but the Blue Devils proved why they are the No. 1 overall seed with a blistering second half performance, winning 85-62.

Vinnie Shahid led the Bison with 20 points.
RJ Barrett led the Blue Devils with 26 points, Zion Williamson finished with 25 points.

The Bison trailed by just four points after 20 minutes but Duke was able to start the second half on a 9-0 run to extend the lead to 40-27 forcing an NDSU timeout. Duke continued their offensive outburst scoring 54 second half points.

Duke advances to the NCAA Tournament 2nd Round.
NDSU ends the season with a 19-16 record.
