The North Dakota State University athletic department will offer fan improvements in the Scheels Center this winter for Bison basketball games and wrestling matches, director of athletics Matt Larsen announced Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Beer and wine sales will be available to all guests ages 21 and over at men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling. To purchase or possess alcohol, a valid wristband must be obtained on game day. A limit of two drinks may be purchased at one time.

Buffalo Wild Wings will operate the beer and wine sales out of the Radio FM Media club suite. All guests will have access to the suite above sections 114-116 on the east side of the arena. Drinks may also be carried out to the east upper concourse in designated areas.

NDSU has also added new general admission seating options for men's basketball games this year. General admission will be in designated areas in the west balcony and south bleachers. Youth tickets will be $5 in the general admission areas.

"The Scheels Center is one of the premier sporting venues in the region and our goal is to have it be a great home court advantage for our student-athletes," Larsen said. "We are continually looking for ways to enhance our game day atmosphere for both basketball and wrestling and are excited about these new offerings for the upcoming season."

Season tickets for NDSU basketball and wrestling are available at, at the Bison Ticket Office in the south lobby of the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, or by calling 231-NDSU or toll free 1-888-231-NDSU. Single-game tickets go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Bison men's basketball non-conference opponents include Cal Poly, Utah Valley, East Tennessee State and Montana State, while the Bison women host Northern Illinois, Valparaiso, Iowa State, Wyoming and Wisconsin among others. NDSU wrestling has nine home dates including Purdue and Stanford in non-conference action, and Big 12 duals against Wyoming, Oklahoma, Fresno State and Air Force.

Bison Fan Day presented by MidcoSN is free and open to the public Friday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Scheels Center inside the Sanford Health Athletic Complex with the men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling teams and coaches in attendance. There will be NDSU rally flags for the first 1,500 in attendance, and other giveaways and prize drawings.
