NDSU Football honored, Lance receives another award

The FCS National Champion North Dakota State football team was honored Saturday during halftime of the Bison Men's Basketball game.

The team brought all eight FCS National Championship trophies on to the floor at the Scheels Center.

Quarterback Trey Lance was presented with the 2019 College Football Performance Awards FCS National Performer of the Year award.

The Redshirt Freshman was named the Most Outstanding Player following NDSU's 28-20 win over James Madison in the National Championship game.

Lance was also named the STATS FCS Jerry Rice Award winner, given to the best freshman in the FCS, and the Walter Payton Award winner, given to the best offensive player in the subdivision.
