The Moorhead Spuds Boys' Hockey team defeated the Bemidji Lumberjacks Tuesday 4-1 at the Moorhead Sports Center.
The Spuds opened the scoring in the first period on Luke Gramer's unassisted goal.
Moorhead increased the lead to 2-0 in the second period after Cullen Gess forced a turnover in the Lumberjacks zone and scored an unassisted goal.
Bemidji cut the lead later in the second period to 2-1 on a shorthanded goal from Bjorn Jorgensen.
Moorhead scored twice in the third period, including an empty netter, for the 4-1 final.
