PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (Valley News Live) -- Fargo native Tom Hoge has made the cut for the U.S. Open at plus-2.
Hoge entered Friday's round at even par after a 71 on Thursday. Friday his round of 73 (+2) allowed him to get to play Saturday and Sunday.
Hoge ended Friday with one double bogey, three bogies, and three birdies. The projected cut line for much of the day Friday was at plus-1 but with golfers still on the course the line moved to plus-2.
Hoge tees off at 10:31 a.m. (CT) Saturday paired with Adri Arnaus.
Hoge sits 11 shots back of leader Gary Woodland who carded at six-under 65 Friday to move to 9-under for the tournament.
