Force unveil Clark Cup Banner, beat Sioux Falls 3-1

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- Playing in its first home game since winning the 2017-18 Clark Cup Championship, the Fargo Force picked up a 3-1 win over Sioux Falls Friday night.

Fargo (2-1-0) scored three times in the first period. Aaron Huglen scored his goal in a Force uniform at the 9:02 mark of the first period.

Just over five minutes later at 14:22 Josh Nodler doubled the Force lead with his second of the season.

Ben Meyers added the final tally of the first period with a power play goal coming just three seconds before the buzzer. It was Meyers' first goal of the season.

Fargo goaltender Ryan Bischel made 27 saves on 28 shots.
