GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- The University of North Dakota Football team will have a different look offensively in 2019.
Former quarterback Danny Freund is entering his first season as the team’s Offensive Coordinator.
One of the things Freund said will be a staple of the offense will be a quick passing game and running the ball out of a lot different formations to take advantage of the skill players on the field at any given time.
Another thing Fighting Hawks fans can expect to see this season is an up-tempo approach.
"Sometimes you might throw the ball more than you run it. Sometimes you might run it more than you throw it -- giving the quarterback options to see how the defense reacts and he can make those decisions accordingly," Freund said.
The Fighting Hawks return eight starters on offense from last year’s team.
