FCS National Champions to be Recognized at Twins Game Sunday

FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Athletics) - North Dakota State University's national championship football team will be recognized prior to this Sunday afternoon's baseball game between the Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles at Target Field in Minneapolis.

The NDSU team will be introduced on-field prior to the game and head coach Matt Entz will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.

Game time is 1:10 p.m. and gates open two hours early. For ticket information, visit TwinsBaseball.com.

Fans can also mark their calendars for NDSU Night at Target Field on Tuesday, June 11, when the Twins host the Seattle Mariners at 7:10 p.m. Custom yellow and green NDSU/Twins caps will be available for fans who purchase a valid NDSU ticket package. A portion of each ticket purchased through this special ticket package will support the NDSU Alumni Association.

Target Field will be the site of North Dakota State's 2019 football season opener. The Bison will take on Butler University in a non-conference game scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31. Tickets for the game are available at TwinsBaseball.com/football.
