CHENEY, Wash. (Valley News Live) -- Eastern Washington Head Football Coach Aaron Best had great things to say about North Dakota State.

Best called NDSU the "barometer of FCS Championship football" when he met with the media Thursday afternoon.

Best was complimentary of the Bison offense, calling the offensive line physical, and gave praise to NDSU senior quarterback Easton Stick.

"He's a special player, arguably the best in the nation this year and over a career for that matter," Best said. "He took over for Carson Wentz and they haven't skipped a beat. It's special to see him play on film. Hopefully it's not as special to see him in person."

North Dakota State and Eastern Washington meet January 5th in Frisco, Texas for the FCS National Championship game.
