COLUMBIA, S.C. (Valley News Live) -- Looking at the NCAA Tournament First Round game there are some obvious difference between the Bison and the Blue Devils.

NDSU is in the midst of its fourth tournament appearance, while Duke is in the national field for the 35th time.

When the teams take the court Friday at 6:10 p.m. on the national stage it won't be the first time for Duke to be in the spotlight which is why the Bison are familiar with the Blue Devils.

Freshman Sam Griesel said he's watched Duke a couple of times on TV already this year. "We got the chance to watch film on them earlier this morning and just going into this game we're really excited to play and we're going into compete and come out on top."

"It's an unbelievable opportunity to be able to play the number one team in the nation," sophomore Rocky Kreuser said. "We have nothing to lose so you just go out there and play free and play loose and see what happens."

"That's the power of a Cinderella story," junior Tyson Ward, who led the Bison with 23 points in the First Four win over North Carolina Central, said. "There's so much on the line for another person that they might get a little nervous and that's when you attack. Blood in the water."

The Bison will look to upset No. 1 Duke Friday at 6:10 p.m. on KX-4.
