Crosa named MVFC Special Teams Player of the Week

ST. LOUIS (NDSU Athletics) -- North Dakota State kicker Griffin Crosa was named Missouri Valley Football Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Sunday, Sept. 15.

Crosa, a freshman from Powell, Ohio, remained perfect on the season converting five PAT kicks and a pair of field goals in North Dakota State's 47-22 win at Delaware. Crosa connected from a season-long 46 yards to give the Bison a 10-2 lead in the first quarter, and made a 23-yarder in the second quarter to extend NDSU's lead to 20-5.

Crosa is 17 of 17 on PAT kicks and 3 of 3 on field goals this year.

No. 1-ranked North Dakota State (3-0) closes out non-conference play against UC Davis (2-1) on Saturday, Sept. 21. Game time is 2:30 p.m. at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.
