NDSU Football wraps Spring Practice

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- North Dakota State football wrapped Spring Practice Friday night at the Fargodome.

The Bison started the night with a ring ceremony honoring the 2018 FCS National Championship team.

First year NDSU Head Coach Matt Entz did not employ a scrimmage format for the 15th and final practice, instead electing to have it be more of a practice with individual drills and some scrimmage situations.

Entz said afterwards he felt like the team showed big improvements in the last week and a half.

"Especially with our younger players finally understanding how to practice, the tempo of practice, the expectation of meetings and all that," Entz said. "Just they needed more reps and that's what we did and I'm excited going into the summer."

The Bison will get back on the practice field in the fall before opening the season August 31 at Target Field in Minneapolis against Butler.
