Bison back in Fargo with help from JMU's plane after travel troubles
The North Dakota State football team is finally back in Fargo Sunday morning after winning the FCS National Championship in Frisco, Texas Saturday and experiencing plane problems trying to leave.
The Bison charter flight experienced mechanical issues and aborted take-off. There were no other planes for the team to transfer to, so the players, coaches, and staff on board had to wait for another aircraft.
Because of TSA regulations nobody on the plane was allowed off.
After waiting around for over 4 hours the Bison were able to get onto a new plane -- the same plane that had just dropped off James Madison's football team in Virginia.
