FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- Mere seconds after the 2019 NFL Draft concluded the news was official for Bruce Anderson.

The former North Dakota State running back is heading to Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent.

Anderson, who went to high school in Florida, will remain close to his home after spending college in Fargo. His parents, who had moved to Fargo to enjoy their son's college football career, will be able to remain home while enjoying the next phase of his career.

The relationship with the Bucs has been growing while Anderson prepared for the NFL stage. He participated at the Bucs‘ local pro day earlier this month and now will have his shot at an NFL roster as he hopes to continue to impress the staff throughout off-season workouts.
