WILLIAMS COUNTY, N.D. (KFYR)- A 14-year-old Williston boy was injured in an ATV crash on a Williams County Road Saturday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened just after noon.

Authorities say Landon Murphy was traveling east in the ditch of County Road 6 when his ATV went airborne off an approach and overturned. He was ejected and taken by ambulance to the Williston hospital.

Murphy's sister says he was transported to Fargo where he is recovering from two broken vertebrae, a brain bleed, a broken nose and a broken wrist.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to offset medical expenses.

The crash is still under investigation.
