Fargo Lyft driver says he's ready to brave the winter storm for work

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- This West Fargo man will be braving the elements for his job. He will be out Lyfting and Ubering people to their destinations.

He tells us he's driven through six snowstorms this year, so he's prepared for this one.

"I am normally the only Lyft or Uber driver on the road," said driver Mike Riewer. "So that way I have the potential to make a lot of money...and get people to where they got to go...sometimes emergency purposes...whatever the case is, I'm glad to help them out."

Riewer says that nights like these cause prices of Lyfts and Ubers to spike. Some rides can go up to $200.
