West Fargo Public Schools has cancelled classes for Wednesday amid projected blizzard conditions.

Below is the full press release.

For Wednesday, February 12, school and activities inclusive of all programs, meetings, training, rentals, practices, and contests have been canceled. Students are not to report to school and no staff members should report for work.

YMCA preschool programming at the Early Childhood Center is also closed; families can bring their students to the YMCA West Fargo Early Childhood Center at 1042 14th Ave E, West Fargo.

This decision has been made with consideration to the blizzard warning and travel advisory in place by the National Weather Service.

The district has now utilized our two make-up days for the year and due to our extended school day, the snow day for Wednesday, February 12 will not be made up. North Dakota Century Code (NDCC) 15.1-06-04.8 provides districts with flexibility when it comes to making up lost time due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
