Waseca, MN, police officer shot during disturbance call
A Minnesota police officer is in a Twin Cities hospital, after being shot during a disturbance call Monday night. It happened in Waseca, which is about 75 miles south of Minneapolis.
The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the shooting happened at a home on the city's south side.
The injured officer was flown by air ambulance to the Twin Cities. A suspect was also shot, and was taken by ground ambulance to the same hospital but no information is being released about their conditions.
