David Gray was taken into custody by authorities in Wahpeton Wednesday. No other details are being released at this time.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol released a statement on Wednesday morning, saying that Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation resident, David Joseph Gray, walked away from the Missouri River Correctional Center, an unfenced, minimum security facility in Bismarck.
Gray is serving a sentence for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, and isn't scheduled for release until April of 2021.
Gray is considered dangerous and if you see him do not approach.
He is suspected to be in the Wahpeton area and may be driving a silver 2007 Pontiac G6, ND license 784BYK or a silver 2004 Suzuki Forenza.
