WF police say residents should use caution on trails after mountain lion and cub spotted

WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) West Fargo police are urging people to be safe on the trails after reports of a mountain lion and cub.

The animals were spotted in the area of Rivers Bend Dr. and 6th St E. near the Sheyenne River, according to the West Fargo Police Department.

In a tweet, the police department said officers did not locate the animals when they checked.

“Please be safe on the trails and keep animals leashed. DO NOT APPROACH. Call 911 if spotted,” the tweet said.
