Body found inside vehicle in Sheyenne River

More details in the search for a missing Valley City man. Deputies found submerged vehicle on Thursday that was registered to Mark Davies.
Davies has been missing for five weeks. The last contact he had with family and friends was on August 23rd.
Earlier this week, the Barnes County Sheriff asked the US Army Corps of Engineers to lower the Sheyenne River so crews could recover the submerged vehicle.
The body and vehicle were recovered in the Sheyenne River about a mile north of Kathryn, ND. Deputies say it appears the vehicle was traveling south on County Road 21. This vehicle left the roadway and entered the Sheyenne River.
