Uber expands service across all of North Dakota

Uber is expanding service in North Dakota.
The ridesharing company will now have operations statewide.
Residents and visitors will now have access to uberX, the company’s most popular ridesharing product, as well as uberXL, an option for larger parties up to six people.
Uber launched service in Fargo in 2015 and expanded to Bismarck and Grand Forks last year.
Uber is a technology company that connects riders and drivers through a smartphone application.
“We are grateful Uber has chosen North Dakota as one of the first states for statewide expansion, continuing their commitment to communities in our state. Their investment will provide access to flexible earning opportunities and a new, reliable mode of transportation for people in every corner of our state. Today’s announcement is an exciting development as we continue to work to bring 21st century services to all communities – urban and rural – across North Dakota,” said Governor Doug Burgum.
