UPDATE: Moorhead Police release the name of the man who was pulled from the river

(Moorhead, MN) -- At 4:00 p.m. on June 29th, crews responded to Johnson Park and recovered a body from the river. The victim has been identified as 56-year-old Jeffrey Lindell of Moorhead.

The Moorhead Police Department, Clay County Sheriff's Office, Moorhead Fire Department and FM Ambulance all responded on June 29th to Johnson Park. First Responders located and recovered the body. After the recovery, the body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for positive identification.

At this time, no foul play is suspected, but final determinations will be pending the final autopsy results.
