NEW ENGLAND, N.D. (VALLEY NEWS LIVE) — Authorities have identified the woman killed in a single-vehicle rollover that left two passengers seriously injured in southwestern North Dakota.
Y Mani Zayd Freeman, 21, of Dickinson, was southbound Friday afternoon on 130th Ave SW in Slope County, approximately 13 miles southwest of New England, when she lost control of a 2007 Nissan Murano.
The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting three of the four occupants.
Freeman was killed, and 19-year-old Alyssa Jo Golden of Dickinson and 22-year-old Brian Sweet of Amidon were seriously injured.
Dylon Daniel Janke, 20, of Jamestown, was not injured.
Authorities say alcohol was a factor in the crash, and none of the occupants was wearing a seat belt.
