Three charged after 196 grams of heroin were seized during a traffic stop

Three have been arrested for selling large quantities of heroin in Becker and Mahnomen counties, including the White Earth Reservation.

On January 8th, Minnesota state patrol conducted a traffic stop in Detroit Lakes. Law enforcement seized approximately 196 grams of purported heroin, 2 grams of purported cocaine, and $6274.

David Lee Verner, 38, Vincent Van Verner, 57 and Pamela Marie Hilliard-Sykes, 38, all of Chicago, IL were arrested and charged in Becker County with 1st degree sale and possession of a controlled substance.
