Traffic stop leads to meth lab bust in Polk County

On the night on Wednesday September 4th, Polk County Deputies pulled over a car about three miles south of Fosston on County Road 6.

After the traffic stop, 27-year-old Cohen James Curfam was arrested for meth possession and DWI. 33-year-old Alicia Jill Muth and 28-year-old Jordan Shea were also arrested for possession of meth.

Deputies say in a search warrant of Curfam's home, they found active ingredients for a one pot style meth lab and an old one pot style lab.

Complaints filed in Polk County District Court as follows:

Cohen James Curfman - 1st Degree Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Attempted 1st Degree Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors with Intent to Manufacture, 2 counts of Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the 5th Degree – Possession , and 4th Degree DWI.

Alicia Jill Muth - Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the 5th Degree – Possession and Giving a False Name to a Peace Officer.

Jorden Anthony Shea - Felony Controlled Substance Crime in the 5th Degree.
