Fargo Police confirm that the body of Savanna Greywind, a missing pregnant woman, has been found in the Red River, near Harwood.

In a news conference Sunday night Fargo Police Chief David Todd says the body was discovered by kayakers about 5:45 Sunday. It was wrapped in plastic and hung up on a log.

Water rescue crews were able to get the body out of the water about 8:00 Sunday night and it was identified as Greywind.

The body has been sent to Ramsey County in Minnesota for an autopsy.

Police and search crews were already in the area where Greywind's body was found looking through a nearby farmstead.

Chief Todd says suspicious items were found at the farmstead leading them to believe it may be a crime scene. Investigators will be back at the farmstead Monday morning.

Police have been searching for days for 22-year-old Savanna Greywind. She disappeared August 19th.

Greywind was 8 months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Since then, a newborn baby was found in the apartment building where she was last seen.

So far, two people, Brooke Lynn Crews and William Henry Hoehn, have been arrested, charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping.

Fargo Police say they plan to hold a news conference sometime Monday to update the case. Valley News Live will bring it to you live when it happens.
