The Beltrami County Sheriff's Department releases the names of the two bodies that were found

BEMDIJI, MINN. (Valley News Live)- The names of the two bodies that were found at 6568 Highway 89 NW in Eckles Township, just northwest of Bemidji, have been released.

Sheriff Ernie Beitel says the remains of 39-year-old Adam Thorpe of Maple Grove and 41-year-old Jason McDonough of Superior were found in a fire pit on the property.

The Beltrami Sheriff's Department arrested 44-year-old Darren Stebe of Bemidji on February 5th, for violations related to his probation.

Sheriff Beitel says Stebe is expected to be arraigned on charges related to the death of Thorpe and McDonough.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office forwarded the double homicide case to the Beltrami County Attorney's Office for review for criminal charges.
