Teen cited for killing bicyclist

BISMARCK N.D. Bismarck Police have cited a 17-year-old high school girl for hitting and killing a cyclist in April.

Police say the girl was given a juvenile citation for manslaughter and ingestion of a controlled substance.

The crash happened in the 3400 block of Nebraska Drive around 2 p.m. on April 30.

Police say a car driven by the 17-year-old left the road and hit the bicyclist on the sidewalk.

The 76-year-old male cyclist was identified as Donald Hruby of Bismarck.

He was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
