Social media mom-shaming on the rise

CNN VAN A new poll by CS Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI finds that mom-shaming is on the rise with mothers of children five years old and younger.

According to the study, 61% of mothers polled say they’ve been the victim of social media shaming by total strangers on various platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

"I definitely think everybody has their different ways of parenting. and everybody has their own method of doing stuff. it's not really anybody else's business how they go about and do stuff," says Brittany Bill a mother in Michigan.

Also a growing number of fathers say they feel the same way about mommy-shaming. "it's messed up," says Rick Finkey and he adds he will not let trolls on social media dictate the way he raises his kids.
