Sentencing postponed in Minot murder conspiracy
The courts have postponed a March sentencing for a woman who admitted to her role in a Minot murder conspiracy.
Cynthia Wilder, 27, was supposed to be sentenced March 29, but the hearing has been cancelled. The reason for the cancellation is unclear.
Wilder entered Alford pleas in November to charges of conspiracy to commit murder and accomplice to escape.
Prosecutors say that Cynthia helped her current husband Richie Wilder, Jr., plan the November 2015 killing of his ex-wife Angila, and later assisted in a foiled attempt to break Richie out of county lockup.
As of Wednesday, a new sentencing date has not been set.
Richie, who is currently serving a life sentence in Angila’s murder, is awaiting his appeal to the state Supreme Court.
