North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer announced in a release on Thursday Morning that he is joining three other US Senators in introducing the "Never Again Education Act", a bill which would fund Holocaust Education.

This act would set up a dedicated fund to give public educators resources and training to teach students important lessons from the Holocaust.

The Holocaust Education Assistance Program Fund would also finance grants to public and private middle and high schools to help teachers improve education programs.

Other members joining this bipartisan bill are Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Richard Blumenthal from Connecticut, and Nevada's Jacky Rosen.

In the release, Senator Cramer was quoted as saying: "The story of the Holocaust must always be taught so that the experience of the Holocaust may never be repeated. With anti-Semitism on the rise in certain parts of the country, even among some elected officials, increased education about this terrible tragedy is as important as ever.”

The US House of Representatives also introduced companion Legislation in January which currently has 204 bipartisan co-sponsors.
