FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) -- The Salvation Army is calling 2019 another successful year. They say that they raised $895,000, just shy of their $900,000 goal.
The organization started collecting donations on November 14th and ended on Christmas Eve.
They are offering up a huge thank you to everyone who helped out and stayed strong through harsh weather.
"This year, even with the bad weather, we only raised about $20,000 less in the kettle than we did last year so that still I think is a phenomenal achievement," said Maj. Jerry O'Neil with the Salvation Army.
If you would like to donate, consider doing it on Giving Hearts Day on February 13th.
