Rollover accident leaves a North Dakota man dead

A 53 year-old Walhalla, North Dakota man is dead following a rollover crash in Pembina County.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says the man was driving east on County Road 1 about 4 miles southeast of Walhalla, when he failed to make a curve.
The driver tried to correct the turn, but lost control of his vehicle and hit a ditch where it overturned.
The man was thrown from the vehicle and it caught on fire and burned.
The driver was taken to Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, where he later died.
His is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin and the crash is under investigation.
